Blue Agave Restaurante y Tequilaria - Cena de Verano Baja California
Tijuana to Rosarita Beach, Ensendad to Cabo; the flavors are fresh and simple. Theses are foods of my childhood, memories of the early 70's, shopping in the Mercado, surfing at K55 and my Dad buying diesel in México for .19 cents a gallon.
Ensenada Fish Tacos - $10.50
Seared Tilapia filets with shredded cabbage, tomatillo salso, fresh lime wedge and a traditional Baja Sauce. Cabo San Lucas or Ensenda; the debate of origin continue!

Tacos al Carbon - $10.50
Marinated, flash-grilled Sirloin steak. Served with radish, lime wedge and salsa fresca. There's a taco stand in Nuevo Laredo where they cut the meat on a huge tree trunk...don't worry, we use a cutting board!

Tacos de Pollo en Chile Verde- $10.00
Tender pulled whole chicken, simmered in green chile sauce and topped with queso cotija.

Tacos (2 per order) served with frijoles refritos and red chile rice. Choose any 3 tacos for $12.50.

Carne Asada Burrito - $11.50
Thinly sliced, flash-grilled marinated Sirloin steak with black beans and queso fresco. Served with red chile sauce and agave rice. Great with a Negra Modelo!

Burrito con Pollo - $11.00
Shredded chicken cooked with onions, garlic, poblano, cilantro and oregano. Filled with refried beans and queso cotija. Served on red chile rice with our traditional Molé Verde.

Los Dos Burro's - $14.00
A slightly smaller version of both BURRITO'S...on one plate!

Cena De Verano - The Heart of Mexico

Plaintain Encrusted Chilean Sea Bass - $19.50
My signature dish, and favorite fish. Mango-habanero sauce surrounds this delicate fish, topped with salsa de frijoles negros. Served with agave rice and Jicama-Pepita slaw. Drizzled with red chile oil.

Enchiladas Suizas de Cuatro Quesos - $13.00
Sin Carne! Asadero, jack, cotija & queso fresco cheeses with black beans, stuffed in white corn tortillas. Served with Suiza sauce, agave rice and grilled nopales.

"Carnita Uruapan" - $14.00
Juicy chunks of 24-hour slow roasted pork (trimmed only slightly to maintain flavor). Dressed with warm corn tortillas, cilantro, sliced onion, salsa fresca and frijoles refritos, as served at this popular restaurant near Tijuana's Bull Ring.
